Order Processing Times

Orders are processed during business hours Mon-Fri, please allow 1-2 business days for us to confirm your order and to contact you to arrange delivery and update you on production timeframe. We may email or call you to arrange delivery time and assess the site and access considerations. WoodBox will reserve the right to make the final decision on what is the best and safest delivery method for your location, but will always work with you to find that best option. 


Shipping Times

We build and ship our sheds and all other products from our workshop in South Wairarapa. We do not deliver internationally.

We aim to deliver your shed 2 weeks from your order. This will be influenced by many factors including material availability, assessment of delivery site, availability of transport options, weather, your availability for delivery etc. While 2 weeks is a good guide, in some cases it will be longer. We will communicate any changes to delivery time and estimates as they change.

Shipping Delivery Options and Costs

Free shipping Terms/deal

  • So long as you have access for a vehicle and trailer (2.5m width), we can deliver your shed to your property. 
  • The 50km zone is calculated from the center of Martinborough, Wairarapa.
  • We use a tip trailer and roll the shed off the back of our trailer into place. We then need to be able to drive directly straight forward for at least 5 meteres (in front of the vehicle) to completely remove the shed from the trailer. If there is not space for this, we could look at a different location to place the shed on your property, or we could drop it in a place close to where you want it that has access, and you can move it on skids to where you want it afterwards. 
  • Our free shipping deal does not include any moving or levelling of the shed once off the trailer.
  • If your property isn’t suitable for this form of delivery we can arrange delivery via Hi-ab at an extra cost. See below.
  • Alternatively we can build on site at an extra cost. See Below.

Outside 50km Free Shipping Zone

  • We charge $1.50+gst per extra Km (over the 50km range) each way plus $80+gst per hour (over the 50km range).
  • Example 1 - Opaki is 50km and 40mins from Martinborough. This is withing our free shipping deal. 
  • Example 2 - Eketahuna is 80km and 1 Hour from Martinborough

= 30km extra each way and 20 mins each way

= $90 + $60 = $150+gst extra.

  • We will calculate and quote this extra delivery charge and once you have reviewed and paid, we will book in delivery to your location. 

Workshop pickup

  • You can collect your woodshed from our yard for a $150 discount.
  • We can forklift the shed on to your trailer. 
  • You will need your own method of removing the shed at your property.
  • Your trailer will need to have a deck area .5m larger in width and length than your shed minimum, larger is better. 
  • Your trailer will need to be rated for 2 Tonne

Hiab Delivery

  • If your shed site is inaccessible by vehicle and trailer (as detailed above) we can arrange for a HIAB (truck with mounted crane) to deliver your shed. 
  • This is priced at $250/hour. We will estimate the time it will take for a HIAB delivery and add that to the full-price quote.
  • You will need to provide a flat, level area slightly larger than the length and width of your shed without trees or eaves overhanging (the crane arm extends 8/10 meters above)
  • The HIAB truck will also need access to within 3 meters of the final shed location. 

Build on Site

  • For inaccessible sites (for either trailer or HIAB delivery) we can build on site for and extra $250 (standard shed without customisation price) + any travel / transport costs over the 50km limit. 
  • For a custom shed we will quote a build on site charge if needed. 
  • We pre cut all materials at our workshop and build on site within 1 day. 
  • You need to provide a flat, pre-leveled area slightly larger than the length and width of your shed.
